Speaking forcefully at the gathering, Hon. Bisi Yusuf, Director General of GMT 2027, declared that Nigeria remains resiliently united, countering groups attempting to sow discord.
He directly addressed and dismissed claims suggesting genocide, noting that the daily reality of Nigerians of both faiths—who continue to live, socialize, and celebrate together without discrimination—is the strongest evidence that the nation has collectively rejected disunity, banditry, and harmful narratives.

Mr. Tayo Ayinde, Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, delivered a goodwill message, emphasizing that joint prayer is an essential tool during challenging times.
