The Reaching Every Adult and Child Foundation (REACIF) has issued a seven-day ultimatum to Nigerians for Good Governance (NGG), demanding verifiable documentary evidence to support allegations reportedly made against the foundation and its founder, Hon. (Mrs.) Susan Waibode Heineken Lokpobiri.
In a press statement issued by its Legal and Media Communications Team, REACIF expressed concern over the alleged statements, describing them as potentially damaging to the foundation’s reputation and public confidence in its humanitarian activities.
The foundation called on NGG to substantiate its claims with credible documentary evidence or issue a public apology through appropriate national media channels.
According to the statement, the seven-day period will commence on October 21, 2026. REACIF warned that failure to address the matter within the stipulated period may prompt its legal team to consider appropriate legal remedies under Nigerian law.
The foundation also stressed the importance of responsible public communication, urging individuals and media organisations to exercise caution when circulating allegations that have not been independently substantiated.
REACIF reaffirmed its commitment to humanitarian service, particularly initiatives aimed at protecting vulnerable populations and promoting sustainable human development across Nigeria.
The foundation further called for accountability, the presentation of verifiable facts and constructive engagement in resolving the dispute.
The statement was signed by the foundation’s Legal and Media Communications Team.
