
In a ceremony led by Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Hon. (Princess) O. Jimoh was officially sworn in as the Executive Vice Chairman of Imota LCDA.
Speaking with QuickGist Media, Princess Jimoh expressed her gratitude to the good people of Imota for their continued support and promised that her tenure would be marked by commitment and progress.

She took the opportunity to appreciate the Governor for prioritizing local governance and also gave kudos to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his foresight in establishing Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs). According to her, the creation of LCDAs has brought governance closer to the people and accelerated development at the grassroots.
Princess Jimoh expressed strong belief that, in no distant time, the 37 LCDAs in Lagos will gain full local government status, further boosting grassroots development.
She described Hon. Benson , the Chairman of Imota LCDA, as “a man of the people and a good man”, commending his leadership style and dedication to the community.
With her swearing-in, Princess Jimoh reaffirmed her readiness to work hand-in-hand with the chairman and all stakeholders to take Imota LCDA to greater heights.
