As Ikorodu Kingdom proudly celebrates a decade of royal excellence, Deaconess Oluwabusola Isikalu, the Iyaloja General of Ikorodu Division, has extended warm congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Engr.) Kabir Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, on his 10th coronation anniversary.
Speaking during a brief interview at the Ayangburen Palace, Deaconess Isikalu described the monarch as a father to all — a man of wisdom and peace who has consistently shown unwavering support for women, especially market traders. She emphasized how his reign has brought progress, stability, and unity to the kingdom.
“Kabiyesi has been a strong pillar behind the success of many, especially in the market community,” she noted. “He listens, he advises, and he acts like a true royal father should. We pray for his continued strength, long life, and prosperous reign.”
The 10th coronation anniversary, which opened with a colorful Woro procession, continues with Omoba Day and other cultural highlights throughout the week.
