This September, women in the Southwest will once again take the lead as the All Progressives Congress Women Support Group (AAWSG) hosts the Southwest AAWSG Summit 2025 in Lagos.

The summit is envisioned as a high-level gathering of women leaders, dignitaries, mobilizers, and grassroots stakeholders from across the Southwest geopolitical zone. Its focus is to build solidarity, strengthen political engagement, and advance the Renewed Hope agenda ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Who We Are
The All APC Women Support Group (AAWSG) is a dynamic political platform committed to fostering growth, inclusiveness, and collaboration among women’s support groups across Nigeria. Our goal is to create a strong, unified voice for women in politics, ensuring their priorities are reflected in national discourse and policy.
Our Core Objectives:
- Amplifying Women’s Voices – ensuring women are heard and represented at all levels of governance.
- Advocating for Gender Equality – pushing for equal opportunities and recognition in politics and leadership.
- Strengthening Collaborative Efforts – building sustainable networks among women’s support groups nationwide.
Our mission is to develop a robust political network that empowers women, supports advocacy for gender equality, and prepares more women for leadership. We envision a Nigeria where women enjoy equal access, representation, and opportunity, and where their voices shape the nation’s progress.
To achieve this, AAWSG engages in policy dialogues, grassroots mobilization, voter education, and leadership development initiatives, equipping women with the tools to influence governance and national decision-making.
