History was made at the 5th Coronation Anniversary of HRM Oba (Engr.) Monsuru Abimbola Oladega, Akinmasa I, the Olu of Agboyi Kingdom, as Mr. Benson Davwe Agbro was officially installed as the Otunba Fiwagboye of Agboyi Kingdom.
The grand ceremony, held at Agboyi Town Hall, Lagos, was graced by royal fathers, political leaders, cultural custodians, and community members who came together to celebrate the monarch’s milestone and honor the newly installed chiefs.
In his remarks, the monarch commended Mr. Benson Agbro for his unwavering dedication and contributions to Agboyi Kingdom, particularly through his active role in the Red Cross Society. Mr. Agbro has consistently supported the community during critical moments such as flood disasters, health outreaches, and emergency relief efforts, ensuring that residents received immediate help and long-term support.
Speaking shortly after his installation, Mr. Agbro expressed gratitude to the monarch, chiefs, and people of Agboyi Kingdom for the honor bestowed upon him.
“This title is not just a recognition but also a call to do more. Through my work with the Red Cross, I have always believed in serving humanity, and Agboyi Kingdom is dear to my heart. I promise to continue supporting the kingdom with initiatives that will improve lives, especially in areas of health, disaster relief, and youth development.”

Alongside him, Hon. Kafilat Adetola Ogbara, MHR, was installed as the Yeye Asoludero of Agboyi Kingdom, while Mr. Abubakar Ahmed Kende was conferred with the title of Aare Tadese of Agboyi Kingdom.
The event not only celebrated tradition and culture but also highlighted the recognition of individuals whose service and humanitarian impact continue to uplift the kingdom and its people.
