Residents of Odonla witnessed the commissioning of a newly established area office and staff housing facility — a step toward decentralizing governance and bringing administration closer to the people.
Strengthened Public Services: Ambulance & Revenue Buses
Further demonstrating his commitment to efficient governance, Mayor Apanisile unveiled:
A fully equipped Ambulance for emergency health response
Three brand-new Revenue Buses to support field operations and enhance mobility for revenue officers
LASHMA health insurance enrollment support to broaden social protection and healthcare penetration
These additions represent a major upgrade in emergency preparedness and administrative responsiveness within the LCDA.
Empowerment & Social Support: IRANLOWO OWO APA Scheme
A highlight of the 100 Days celebration was the launch of the Iranlowo Owo Apa Empowerment Programme, where beneficiaries — including artisans, small business owners, the elderly, young people, and vulnerable households — received ₦100,000 financial support each.
The intervention aims to ease economic hardship, promote self-reliance, and uplift low-income residents across all communities in Ikorodu North LCDA.
