Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA) celebrated the first 100 days in office of its Executive Chairman, Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi, with a high-energy novelty football match on Monday evening at the iconic Abesan Mini Stadium.
The atmosphere was vibrant as football lovers, political leaders, youth groups, and community stakeholders gathered to witness the Under-21 face-off between Mosan-Okunola Team A and Team B—a clash that delivered excitement, suspense, and raw talent.

In a fun moment, Hon. Akindele joined the display for a light sparring session, further electrifying the crowd.
Late Equalizer & Penalty Drama
Just when Team B thought victory was sealed, Team A captain, Ajumobi Emmanuel, converted a dramatic last-minute penalty, leveling the game and forcing a high-pressure penalty shootout.
Team B held their nerves, clinching a 5–3 victory, sparking jubilant celebrations among players and supporters.

Hon. Akindele and Vice Chairman Hon. Falade presented medals to both teams and awarded the prestigious championship trophy to Team B, amid cheers from excited spectators.
