Governor has appointed Prince Ibrahim Kehinde Ladéga, a respected broadcaster and master of ceremonies, as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Political Mobilization and Strategy.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was confirmed in an official letter from the Governor’s Office on Friday. In his new role, Ladéga will support the governor’s political engagements across Lagos, coordinate stakeholder outreach, and help drive strategic communication with party structures and community leaders.
A Strategic Addition to the Political Team
Prince Ladéga is widely recognized within Lagos media and event circles. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation as a broadcaster and compere, anchoring high-profile government functions, corporate events, and political rallies. His vibrant style and grassroots connection have earned him significant influence within APC networks in the Southwest.
Experience in National Politics
Before this appointment, Ladéga served as Special Assistant on Political Matters (South West) to , former Speaker of the House of Representatives. During his tenure from 2019 to 2023, he played a key role in regional political coordination, youth mobilization, and stakeholder engagement across the six Southwest states.
Role and Responsibilities
According to party insiders, Ladéga’s responsibilities will include strengthening connections between the governor’s office and political stakeholders across the 20 local government areas and 37 LCDAs in Lagos State. He is also expected to drive issue-based mobilization and provide grassroots feedback to shape policy direction and political strategy.
