The political landscape in Epe Constituency II continues to witness growing momentum as the Council of Baales in Eredo LCDA has openly declared their support for Prince Adetola Ganiu Olusegun, popularly known as Segun Three, ahead of the Lagos State House of Assembly election.
During a strategic gathering of traditional community leaders, the Baales expressed strong unity in their position, emphasizing the importance of respecting existing political agreements and maintaining fairness in leadership rotation within the constituency.
According to the council, the principle of rotation remains a key factor in sustaining peace, equity, and political balance across Epe Constituency II. They stressed that agreements reached among divisions must be respected by all stakeholders.
The Baales firmly stated that Eredo LCDA has already had its turn in previous arrangements and that it is now the turn of Ikosi Division to produce the next representative at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
In their collective position, they described Prince Adetola Ganiu Olusegun as the most suitable candidate for the moment, citing his proven record of performance during his tenure as Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA between 2008 and 2014.
They noted that his leadership track record in areas such as infrastructure development, education, healthcare, security, youth empowerment, and rural development continues to speak for him long after leaving office.
The Council of Baales further emphasized that their support is not based on sentiment but on visible achievements and experience, stating that Prince Segun Adetola has already demonstrated capacity, competence, and grassroots connection.
They also reaffirmed that “agreement is agreement,” insisting that political trust and rotational understanding must be upheld by all parties involved to maintain unity and stability within the constituency.
