The premiere of the highly anticipated indigenous movie “Ebo Aláìkú” continued to attract massive attention across Ikorodu Division as residents trooped out in large numbers to witness the cultural and entertaining production.
The movie premiere, which commenced yesterday with an impressive turnout of families, youths, community stakeholders, and movie lovers, will conclude today across selected venues within the division.
Organisers announced that residents can still enjoy the final day of the movie showing at Ikorodu Town Hall, Megalite/Homat Event Centre in Igbogbo, and Mambilla Hotel Events Hall.
To encourage wider participation, tickets are currently enjoying a 70 percent subsidy for residents of Ikorodu Division courtesy of Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, Member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
The movie production, presented by Cradle Art Cast Academy and Media Ltd in collaboration with Oritoke Ashabi Media Ltd, features several respected Nollywood actors including Yinka Quadri, Peju Ogunmola, Peter Ifagbemi, Kehinde Kunle Ogungbangbe, Sesan Adio, Olaniyi Afonja popularly known as Sanyeri, and Sanusi Izihaq “Apa”.
In further support of the cultural initiative, the Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Mayor Ameen Apanishile, alongside the Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, also sponsored tickets for residents to ensure broader community participation in the cinematic experience.
Residents have been encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity and celebrate the festive season with family and loved ones through the rich cultural entertainment offered by the movie.
