
Celebrations and tributes have continued to pour in for elder statesman, Alhaji Ashafa Ajibola Erogbogbo, father of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, as he marks his 100th birthday anniversary.
The respected centenarian, who clocked 100 on May 28, is widely admired for his decades of service, discipline, and contributions to community and national development.
Alhaji Erogbogbo worked with several reputable institutions during his active years, including the Government Printing Press and Nigeria Customs and Excise, before retiring as an aviation supervisor at Shell Company Nigeria Limited.
Family members, associates, and community leaders described him as a symbol of integrity, dedication, and excellence, noting that his wisdom and mentorship have continued to inspire younger generations, particularly within Ikorodu Division of Lagos State where he remains highly respected.
The celebration also highlighted his remarkable life journey and enduring legacy as a devoted family man, community leader, and accomplished professional whose impact continues to resonate across different sectors.
As part of activities commemorating the milestone, a book titled “Echoes of Grace: The Journey of a Century” was unveiled to document his life experiences, achievements, and contributions over the last 100 years.
Dignitaries and well-wishers who joined the celebration offered prayers for continued good health, peace, strength, and happiness for the elder statesman as he celebrates the rare and historic milestone with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
