The iconic Adeboruwa Carnival Igbogbo once again lit up the entire kingdom as residents, cultural troupes, and heritage groups from Itunmokun, Itundomole, and Ogunlewe Parapo stormed the streets in grand style to celebrate the 37th Igbogbo Day — a festival that continues to stand tall as one of the most powerful symbols of unity, identity, and tradition in the Igbogbo Kingdom.
For over three decades, the carnival has grown into a cultural masterpiece, recognized for its vibrant displays, ancestral pride, and unmatched community spirit. This year’s edition lived up to expectations as the three great quarters — Itunmokun, Itundomole, and Ogunlewe Parapo — showcased their cultural strength with dazzling costumes, traditional music, masquerade artistry, and electrifying performances that kept thousands of spectators enthralled.
From the rhythmic beats of the talking drums to the colourful processions that swept through the kingdom, the carnival reaffirmed its role as a bridge between history and the present.
