Political stakeholders and apex leaders across Eredo LCDA have expressed strong confidence in Prince Adetola Ganiu Olusegun, popularly known as Segun Three, ahead of the Lagos State House of Assembly election for Epe Constituency II.
During a strategic stakeholders’ engagement, the leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the principle of two-term rotational representation within the constituency, insisting that political agreements and established zoning arrangements must be respected for the sake of fairness, unity, and continuity.
According to the apex leaders, Eredo LCDA has played its part within the rotational arrangement, stressing that it is now the turn of Ikosi Division to produce the next representative at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The leaders maintained that respecting the zoning structure remains critical to sustaining political harmony and mutual trust across Epe Constituency II.
Speaking during the gathering, several community stakeholders described Prince Adetola Ganiu Olusegun as a tested grassroots political mobilizer whose achievements during his tenure as Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA continue to distinguish him within the political landscape of the constituency.
They noted that his administration between 2008 and 2014 delivered visible projects in education, healthcare, infrastructure, rural electrification, youth empowerment, environmental development, and security, despite operating with limited allocations at the time.
The apex leaders further emphasized that their support for Prince Adetola Segun is rooted in performance, experience, and capacity, stating that his record of development continues to speak for him years after leaving office.
Many of them also pointed to his longstanding relationship with community leaders, grassroots stakeholders, traditional institutions, and residents across both Eredo LCDA and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA as evidence of his political maturity and leadership experience.
The atmosphere during the engagement reflected unity and strong political understanding, as stakeholders repeatedly stressed that “agreement must remain agreement,” insisting that all parties involved in the rotational arrangement should honor their commitments.
Political observers within Epe Constituency II described the growing alignment between apex leaders in Eredo LCDA and supporters of Prince Adetola Ganiu Olusegun as a significant development ahead of the assembly race.
