
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikorodu Federal Constituency is set to conduct its House of Representatives Primary Election today, in a decisive exercise that will shape the party’s direction ahead of the general elections.
Party leaders and stakeholders have intensified mobilization across all wards, calling on members to participate actively in what has been described as a crucial democratic process for consolidating internal unity and strengthening grassroots structures.

Strong Mobilization for Participation
A prominent voice in the mobilization effort, , has called on all APC faithful across Ikorodu to turn out en masse and participate peacefully in the exercise.
As a member of the representing Ikorodu Division, she emphasized discipline, unity, and commitment to democratic values during the process.
She expressed firm confidence in the leadership of the incumbent representative, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, describing his track record as impactful and development-driven, with consistent grassroots presence and legislative performance that has benefited communities across Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
According to her, the collective participation of party members will reinforce continuity and further strengthen developmental strides in the constituency.
Call for Peaceful and Orderly Conduct
Olabanji-Oba urged all party members to ensure a peaceful, transparent, and orderly process, stressing that participation remains a key responsibility of every registered member.
She noted that “your vote remains your voice,” encouraging members to come out with unity and purpose to shape the future of the party in Ikorodu.
