KADUNA, October 24, 2026 — The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) Women Wing recorded an impressive turnout in Kaduna as women from across the North-West gathered in large numbers for the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Led by Mrs Bimbo Okpere, Dr Ene Ogbelle, Tosin Aragbaiye, Amina Indala and Olubunmi Kama, the women turned out in significant numbers, filling the gathering with songs, chants and messages of solidarity. Their strong presence highlighted the TSG Women Wing’s grassroots network and its commitment to mobilising women in support of the APC ahead of the 2027 polls.
The gathering reflected the group’s determination to strengthen women’s participation in political engagement and expand support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC. Participants expressed their backing for TSG leader, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, acknowledging his leadership and commitment to the Tinubu administration.
The women also reaffirmed their support for President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, pledging to take the message of the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda to communities across the country. They declared their readiness to intensify grassroots engagement, connect with women in different communities and encourage wider participation in the political process ahead of 2027.
The large turnout in Kaduna underscored the TSG Women Wing’s role in organising women around a shared political platform and demonstrated the importance of grassroots structures in the APC’s mobilisation efforts. Through community outreach and women-led engagement, the group aims to broaden its network and strengthen its presence across wards and local communities.
As preparations for the 2027 general elections continue, the TSG Women Wing says it remains focused on building its grassroots presence and mobilising support for the Tinubu–Shettima ticket under the APC banner.
