Sanwo-Olu Swears In Barr. Ade Ayeni as Vice Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Reaffirms Commitment to Grassroots Transformation
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has officially sworn in Barrister Ade Ayeni as the new Vice Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, ushering in a fresh wave of leadership and renewed momentum for grassroots development.
The swearing-in ceremony, held in Lagos, was marked with excitement and high expectations, as Governor Sanwo-Olu reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to empowering local councils for effective governance and accelerated growth.
Speaking to QuickGist Media, the newly sworn-in Vice Chairman, Barr. Ade Ayeni, expressed gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu for the opportunity to serve, and to the people of Igbogbo/Bayeku for their continuous support and belief in democratic values.

He praised Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the architect behind the LCDA vision, crediting his foresight in creating administrative units that bring governance closer to the people. “It’s time we elevate the 37 LCDAs to full local government status,” Ayeni added. “The impact at the grassroots is undeniable.”
Ayeni also commended Governor Sanwo-Olu for his visionary leadership and described Chairman Hon. Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun as “a man of the people and a truly good man whose leadership has positively impacted the community.”
“Igbogbo/Bayeku is already moving to greater heights under this administration. The people are reaping the rewards of democracy, and this is just the beginning.”
