Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Distributes 300 Free GCE Forms to Indigent Students
In a remarkable show of commitment to education and youth empowerment, Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) under the leadership of its Executive Chairman, Hon. (Mrs.) Adetola Adunni Abubakar, has distributed 300 free GCE forms to indigent students and residents across the LCDA.
The initiative aims to reduce the financial burden on parents while ensuring that brilliant but less-privileged students have the opportunity to further their education and prepare for tertiary admission.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Adetola Abubakar emphasized that education remains a top priority of her administration, noting that investing in young people is the most sustainable way to secure the future of Agboyi-Ketu and Lagos State at large.
She encouraged the beneficiaries to make the best use of the opportunity by studying diligently and staying focused on their academic pursuits. She further assured residents that her administration would continue to support youth-focused programs and initiatives that promote development and inclusivity.
The beneficiaries and their parents expressed gratitude to the council boss, describing the gesture as timely and impactful, especially in a period when many families are struggling with rising costs of education.
This initiative reaffirms Agboyi-Ketu LCDA’s dedication to building a brighter future through education, empowerment, and community development.
