In a colorful and historic ceremony marking the 5th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba (Engr.) Monsuru Abimbola Oladega, Akinmasa I, the Olu of Agboyi Kingdom, Mr. Abubakar Ahmed Kende was officially installed as the Aare Tadese of Agboyi Kingdom.
The event, which took place at Agboyi Town Hall in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Lagos, attracted eminent monarchs, political leaders, community figures, and well-wishers who came to celebrate the growth and development of the ancient kingdom under Oba Akinmasa’s reign.
Speaking to QuickGist, Mr. Abubakar Ahmed Kende expressed deep gratitude to the Olu of Agboyi Kingdom for the honor bestowed on him. He described the monarch as a leader with genuine love and vision for his people, adding that the installation was not just a title, but a call to serve more.
He highlighted his contributions through the Nigerian Red Cross Society, where he has been actively involved in supporting Agboyi Kingdom during times of need, especially during floods and other emergencies. According to him, the Red Cross has consistently partnered with the community to bring relief, aid, and development support.
Mr. Kende assured the people of Agboyi that he would continue to dedicate his resources and influence to ensure that the kingdom thrives in all aspects of development. He ended his speech with prayers for Oba Akinmasa’s continued reign, wishing him more wisdom, strength, and a long life on the throne.
