As Muslims across the world mark Eid-El-Maulud 2025, the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), Aare’birin Hon. Princess (Dr.) Folashade Olabanji-Oba has extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah, particularly the faithful in Ikorodu Division and Lagos State.
In her felicitation message, Princess Folashade urged Nigerians to embrace the Prophet’s timeless teachings of love, tolerance, and compassion, which remain essential for peace and coexistence in today’s society.
“Eid-El-Maulud is not only a time of celebration but also a reminder of the values Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) lived by — kindness, generosity, and service to humanity. As we honor his legacy, let us reflect these virtues in our daily lives,” she said.
Princess Folashade stressed that communities thrive when unity and understanding prevail. She called on residents of Ikorodu and Nigerians at large to foster mutual respect and peaceful coexistence, irrespective of religious or cultural differences.
“May this holy occasion bring us closer to Allah’s mercy and blessings. Let us intentionally live with love, uplift one another, and work together for a greater Lagos and a stronger Nigeria,” she added.
