The Executive Chairman of Mosan–Okunola LCDA, Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi, on Friday, 28th November 2025, marked her 100 days in office, an event that brought together top government officials, political leaders, stakeholders, and community influencers who praised her for delivering impactful governance within a short period.
Held at the LCDA Secretariat, the celebration highlighted an administration built on vision, accountability, and people-focused development.
Chairman’s Address: “A Journey of Service and Results”
In her address, Hon. Adunni thanked the people of Mosan–Okunola for their trust and support, describing her first 100 days as:
“A journey built on faith, service, and our collective desire to uplift this community.”
She noted that several projects once considered unrealistic within a year have already been completed within months, proving her administration’s commitment to efficient and sustainable development.
She highlighted key accomplishments such as:
The Light Up Corner Project
Educational support programmes for pupils
Multiple empowerment initiatives benefiting over 3,000 residents
Fulfilling Her 10-Point Agenda
Speaking further, Hon. Adunni reaffirmed that 90% of her campaign’s 10-Point Agenda has been achieved within the first 100 days.
Road Projects
Her administration completed:
A 750m dual-carriage road
A 700m road
An additional road of similar length
Totalling almost 1.5km of newly constructed road networks.
Education and Child Welfare
The LCDA rehabilitated:
A block of six classrooms at Abesan Nursery & Primary School
Provided pupils with books, school bags, and learning materials
Established a functional sickbay—the first in the community—to ensure children receive immediate medical care.
Community Welfare and Empowerment
Under her leadership motto:
“My community, my focus, my staff, my priority,”
the LCDA carried out extensive welfare and empowerment programmes.
She shared an emotional story about 13-year-old Alfred Korede, a boy battling kidney disease. His mother initially sought ₦100,000 assistance, but after understanding the full situation, the Chairman mobilized support. With the help of Alimosho chairmen and community philanthropists, ₦17 million was raised. However, medical costs have increased to ₦40 million, prompting her to call for more public support.

Praised her outstanding performance, describing the 100 days as:
“A remarkable demonstration of responsible leadership.”
He urged residents to get their PVCs ahead of the 2027 elections.

Major Projects Commissioned During the 100 Days Celebration
- Security and Administrative Vehicles
A total of seven vehicles were commissioned:
4 Police Patrol Buses
1 Peace Corps Vehicle
1 Environmental Services Vehicle
1 Ambulance
- Road Infrastructure
Three roads were officially commissioned:
Adunni Akindele Road – 750m
RT Hon Mudashiru Obasa Road– 700m
keda Road
- Education & Health Facilities
Renovation of six classrooms at Abesan Nursery & Primary School
Opening of an upgraded hospital wing
Installation of solar power at the LCDA Secretariat—ending reliance on generators
Honouring Distinguished Contributors
The Chairman also presented Awards of Excellence to notable personalities who have supported the growth and progress of Mosan–Okunola LCDA. Honourees included:
